Rumours are starting to swirl that the long awaited statement from Charles Clarke will consist of only two words. "I resign". I'm not so sure. From my time working for David Davis I know that Home Office statements are invariably an hour or two late. But you never know...
UPDATE: 5.15 He ain't gonna resign...
My money is that Blair, clarke and Prescott are the political equivalent of street fighters.
Normally for me a victory for Davis, Cameron et al is the stuff of nightmares but re the arrogant Nu Labour cuckoos, I say all power to their elbows.
I have a bottle ready to celebrate resignations.
Both Sky and the BBC were saying the statement was going to be at 3pm, then nothing, then the BBC News website had a link to coming up audio/video saying it would be at 4.30pm, then that disappeared, then the ticker on the BBC News website at the top said statement expected at 4.30pm again. Just the general incompetence of the Home Office I guess.
Four words: Mine's a large one...
The statement was released earlier today but then it completely disappeared and the Home Office have since lost all trace of it.
He wil not reisgn, not for a while yet, these worms have no shame, the biggest slimiest worm is their boss
I'd say watch the language, finding someone on the PNC is far different to finding them in person.
the PNC i s mainly useless other than to id the honest or the stupid, the police identify you based on what you tell them checked against the electoral role, and by the way if you are stopped by the police if they dont have your date of birth they cannot get you criminal record(if you have one)
mind how you go
If I were one of the 1000 and wanted to go to ground I would just leave the country, then come back and claim asylum under another name, and that is what they do, its a good argument for id cards, however as we know this bunch will just use id cards against those of us who pay taxes and dont rape and murder people.
Sky News flashing breaking news now at 5:22 that some foreign prisoners HAVE reoffended. If he does not insist to the PM that he has to go now, he is beyond contempt.
I hatE to say it but
I TOLD YOU SO!
