Nick Clegg Shows Why He Should Be LibDem Leader

Stephen Pollard has an excellent post HERE on why Nick Clegg would make an ideal leader for the LibDems.

Very waggish of both of you.

Meanwhile. Ming is doing just fine as far as I'm concerned.....

For total perfection-Cleggy as Leader and Hughes as deputy-what could possibly go wrong?

On a completedly unrelated note, how about a blog post on the ASDA strike news.

Basically, the unions are writing to temping agencies reminding them (accurately) that Labour's laws now make it illegal to provide staff to cover during a strike.

So for all of Labour's pro-business rhetoric, they're deliberately ensuring that businesses are hit hard by strikes.

Still, I suppose it keeps the union money flowing in to pay Cherie's hairdressing bill.

Clegg has got more talent in his little finger that you Iain.

Get back to Norfolk mate.

Iain - that advertising button on this post about reaching the people advising the next Prime Minister. Why does it contain a picture of Dishy Dave C? Shouldn't it be Gordon?

Clegg has Norfolk and Chance of succeeding Ming. And as Dubya might say, don't misunderestimate Iain's little fingers.

Very witty ... but it does highlight why Clegg's stock is falling rapidly in Lib Dem circles.

Guido won't be pleased with you, Iain, he's got money on Clegg ;-)

I couldn't agree more though.

Incidentally, did Chris Huhne venture any opinion on Clegg's leadership credentials during your cosy chat with him at the GMTV offices last week?
