Another Biteback Book Makes a Splash

David Laws's book, 22 DAYS IN MAY, which I am publishing, is serialised in the Mail on Sunday tomorrow and it's on their front page. This follows the splash in the Guardian today for Rob Wilson's book.

My colleagues at Biteback, James Stephens and Katy Scholes, have done a terrific job on the marketing of these two books.

We've also got Anthony Seldon's book, BROWN AT TEN coming up. I hope I am not deluding myself in thinking that Biteback has now really established itself as one of the (if not the) premier political publishers in Britain.

So if you have a political book you want published...

Congratulations Iain, good to see Biteback doing well.

Laws should be joining Morley et al in court not profiting from books. Also Wiggin and Gormless Gordon - or is £12k insufficient?

No visual verifier available again.

Your sales department needs to work a bit harder: I have just checked the catalogue of the London Libraries Consortium:
http://www.londonlibraries.gov.uk/02_Catalogue/02_001_Search.aspx
to find that none of the 12 borough library services in the consortium have ordered the book yet.

Way to go, Iain. You've shown people that, with sufficient knowledge, experience and nous, it's still possible to start a successful independent book/magazine publishing company.
