January Political Performance Results

William Hague tops the table for the first time, while Boris makes a jump into the top ten. Chris Grayling deservedly continues his climb up the chart. Biggest fallers are Chris Huhne and Caroline Spelman (down 8). Those in green show an improvement in their average score. Only 12 out of 42 politicians managed to do that in January. That says something about the state of British politics.

What's with everyone burning Nick Clegg? :(

With all due respect, what is Vince Cable doing up there? He hasn't done anything noteworthy since the turn of the year.

Iain, I find the positions of Clegg and Paddick quite unbelievable.

As a labour supporter anyone at the bottom of the list who is labour is probably doing the best, This is simply a tory hate list. If I was a labour mp I would want to be bottom. If i was a tory i would to be in the middle as if you are near the top you are just playing to the core.

No Peter Hain or Derek Conway?

Nice to see Hague in his rightful position. As for Vince Cable, surely he's last month's news?!

Why are you doing these pointless 'surveys'? Don't see what these political equivalents of the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party add to your blog?

Put Caroline Flint at the bottom for her cack-handed statements. Lynsey Hanley owned her in the Guardian today. In the same paper, your mate Justin Hinchcliffe was published as objecting. He was cited as "Justin Hinchcliffe, Tottenham Conservatives".

Anonymous at 12:18, most people who come here vote Conservative. Surely you realised that some time ago. If you can reconcile yourself to the fact, no one is going to stop you coming here, reading and commenting.

I didn't score any LAB or LIB ones. I think they are largely irrelevant. LAB 'policies' usually consist of a hate list.

Just watched a snippet of Blue Peter. The BP Apeal this year is raising money for carers by way of collecting unwanted discs (CD/DVD)So one presenter goes with a young lad (who happens to be a carer for his mum and happened to save her life on one occasion)to Westminster to meet the three party leaders. Both Cameron and Clegg hand over a fistful of the discs. Then off they trot to number 10 and meet Bottler Brown. He hands over, somewhat grudgingly, TWO discs (and one of them h claims, from his children). My first thoughts ponder if this could be where the two infamous lost Revenue discs ended up, and what an ecredible tightfisted b******d we have as Prime Minister!

It is good to see Chris Grayling and Andrew Lansley upping their scores.

A shame Philip Hammond and Dominic Grieve are unlisted.
