Malc & Norfolk are in good company, apparently a Gay Rights org in Rome has classed the Pontiff's decision as 'idiocy'. Also, apparently about 50 countries have refused to sign up to the UN proposal. I'm not completely sure why such a thing is going through the UN anyway.

It certainly is a human rights issue but one would have thought that an initiative like that is just egregious in many societies.

As a Catholic I especially love it when people try to change the church, as it really is a fickle organisation searching for its soul!

It's a strange one... I certainly love the hypocrisy of being "pro-life" - but only for unborn babies, not living, breathing human beings who also happen to be homosexual.

Also, I really can't make the leap from "decriminalising" homosexuality to gay marriage and a threat to the institution that is hetrosexual marriage. Anyone help me out?

Malc - give it a couple of hundred years and they'll come round (maybe!)
