Gordon Brown Quiz Question

We all know that Tony Blair has not only never attended a funeral of any of the 100 servicemen and women who have died in Iraq, but also never visited any of the injured or their families, but it seems Gordon Brown has a similar aversion. I'll give 10 bonus points to anyone who can send me a photo of Gordon Brown visiting the armed forces. I'm told that in 23 years in Parliament he never has. Prove me wrong!

Reshuffle tip: Hilary Benn for Home Secretary.

Either No.10 is lying (entirely possible of course on alleged past form!) or perhaps you should rephrase the piece. Blair should have done it from day one though and you're right about Brown...

'Asked whether the Prime Minister felt under any pressure to provide evidence of meetings with relatives or injured soldiers, the PMOS said that the Prime Minister did not grandstand about such meetings. They were private occasions and should remain so. Asked whether he was saying the Prime Minister had met bereaved relatives, the PMOS said that the Prime Minister had met injured soldiers and bereaved, but we would not provide details.'

I couldn't find anything, then again I thought Brown had 'grave reservations' about the War in Iraq. I did come across this photo of Brown making a dick out of himself, sieg heil Tony.
