Extraordinary that the Tories are about to be hit by three, maybe four, big sex scandals. This is desperately bad timing for David Cameron. Maybe tomorrow will bring better news?

Time for the Tories to realize they are up against liars and manipulators, and only one way to beat them play dirty as well.

But then again does Cameron really want to win and have to sort things out, let Gordon clean it up with Mandy and Lord Paul they have the talent.

Cynics might well consider that both TP and DM had made their alliance for reasons of grubby commercial/personal advantage (TP to use DM to claim political independence - DM to use TP to puff and strut) and that it did not reflect much credit on either.

Mind you, MacShane, as you should have known would happen, got the better of the deal. He can [silly me - will] now boast of striking a blow against racism and anti-semitism (and by implication put TP at fault in this regard).

Is this what you respect about him?
