Which Blogwars are you referring to, Iain?

I deny the duality of earnestness and levity and morally deplore podgy Rachel`s earnest essays with great seriousness

Sorry. I'm tired with all this blogwars stuff when there is a real war going on in Iraq. Politicalbetting has a good piece about "What Did you do during the War, Daddy?" where one blogger compares the number of MPs who lost their life in the Second World War (23) and the First Word War (22) with the number who are fighting in Iraq. (0)

Charlotte

While the point is clearly taken, I am aware of at least one MP who has served in Iraq: Desmond Swayne is a member of the TA and was in Iraq in 2003.

Talking about a code of conduct:

"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to ensure that bloggers remain free to comment on government policy, ministerial decisions, political correctness, Islamic extremists, the weather and anything else that takes our fancy, without fear of censorship."
