I'm sure I won't be the first of your correspondents to point out that Winnipeg is in Manitoba, Canada (Head of State: Queen Elizabeth II) and not the United States.

Re your last point it is indeed a good campaign ad but you owe Canadians an apology- Winnipeg is in Manitoba, Canada. The Canadians do not take kindly to being mistaken for Americans!

Just saw on BBC news 2 London schools will use their pupils as part of a protest against the cuts - the children will join hands between schools in Brent.

I don't know what you think but I think that the teachers have breached their contract by using their children - why not deliver political leaflets.
