Several people have asked me to post the interview I did on Thursday on my LBC programme with "Family commentator" Lynette Burrows. It lasts ten minutes and I can assure you is well worth listening to the end. I was speaking to her about whether kissing in public is ever acceptable, in the light of the two gay men who were thrown out of the John Snow pub in Soho for kissing.

You're in the wrong party mate. I'm sure the BNP would welcome you with open arms.
I agree with Iain. You are born Gay, and Lynette was the bigot not you Iain. Looks like theres another bigot TrueBlueToryboy.
Great show as always Iain.
I thought you were incredibly patient with some daft old bat that sounds like she was born in the dark ages.
You were very patient and polite consider this woman seems to have barely dragged herself out of the dark ages.
Is Lynette a dinosaur?? I found her views quite offensive. Maybe we should organise a kiss in for her....

No doubt Lynette would say that if the majority of relationships are between people of the same ethnic background, then a landlord is right to throw inter-racial couples out of the pub as well. Iain, I admire your patience in the face of bigotry.
I think t is likely that some people do not like ANY examples of sexuality or love in public, but realise they would look odd if they complain.
However, if they see two people of the same sex expressing love in public, this is so different to what they normally see that they feel more confidant in complaining or making a scene.
