Sarah Palin: Stand Up Comedian

A new career awaits Sarah Palin. Or not. Actually, I thought she was very good. Having done a stand up turn myself last year, I know how difficult it is!

I detest her and all she stands for, but, credit where credit is due, she did this well.

Whatever else, Iain, she is definitely much better looking than you :-)

At least she has a sense of humour.

Our unelected moron has nothing going for him, except a P45 on Friday 7th May.

In any event it's too late to tell her not to give up the day job.

Wow, she made me laugh out loud a few times during that. Good on her.

What is a..."comedy dee dah dee dah...bew" I wonder?

She's great.

The left hate campaign, focussing on her occasional lack of background knowledge on issues of the day, and her lack of a polished slick delivery are plusses in my book because she comes across as "One of us" rather than as a slick, unprincipled, snake oil salesman, like another conservative who I could name.

Ironic considering her campaign was at least partially derailed by her similarity to stand-up Tina Fey. Or was that the point ?

I most of all admire her ability to give socialists apoplexy, causing them to flail in despair and/or froth at the mouth.

She really does have this innate ability to bring out that deep rooted Freudian sexual inadequacy or whatever it may be in the likes of Marcus Brigstocke.

@John East. "than as a slick, unprincipled, snake oil salesman..". You mean the Lord Sleaze!

Was it Tina Fey or Lisa Ann she was auditioning for?
Good routine.

Actually, that delivery was pretty spot on.

She has been up and down and up and down in my opinion over the last couple of years. A big down was when she was caught in that radio prank and giggled like a schoolgirl - not the kind of vice-leader of the free world I'm looking for.

She did well here, but then she is a politician: it's all about the delivery.

Anerica is extremely lucky that someone with a clear view of the need for freedom, free markets & the rolling back of the state, with very successful executive experience as governor of Alask also turns out to be a great & witty speechmaker able to connect with real people.

If any 1 politician can get America working again it is her. Oity we haven't been so lucky yet.
