You may not know this, but Thierry is a member of the Bavarian Orange Order Kommandos. He did a good job.

Not explained to me. Why does that painfully affected signature (more like some pathetic egoist's tag sprayed on a wall) say '14 Beuuf'? Why does he have a gold ribbon round his neck? Why is he standing in front of the undestroyed Word Trade Center? Why is there an air raid going on? Did you mean to post this on your other blog?

My great-grandfather may have been a Grandmaster in the Orange Order Iain, but he was a member of the Order in Donegal. Even so I suspect that he would be turning in his grave at the bad taste of this posting.

Hi Ian,
in case you missed this from the Telegraph:
"It is also the conjuring trick by which the EU, with an obligation under the Kyoto Treaty to reduce its emissions by 8 per cent by 2012, has managed to claim success, while actually increasing emissions by 13 per cent. This has been achieved by purchasing "offsets" from countries such as China. And how was this in turn carried out? We did it by paying the Chinese billions of dollars to destroy atmospheric pollutants, such as CFC-23, which they had manufactured purely in order to be destroyed: brilliant."
Now we know the whole 'Carbon Trading' thing is a load of balls.
Welcome to the new 'Window Tax'.

Stephen Glenn - lighten up you sanctimonious so-and-so! This is funny. And Tachybaptus - unless you're an Ulster prod you just won't get it.

Stephen Gillespie I stand by what I said, just has there are campaigns n football to show racism the red card, to stop homophobic chants from the stands, so too there is a campaign especially up here in Scotland to throw sectarianism out of football. Therefore for a respected political blogger and football follower such as Iain to produce such an image on his blog does little to help such a campaign.

As I mentioned my Great-Grandfather would have a hrd time as the team he once supported in the (northern) Irish League, now play in the (southern) league of Ireland. Indeed his team has just as much possibility of its players wearing the greens of either Ireland. Iain is reaching to the lowest common denominator for a cheap laugh from a few.

It is time to end the sectarianiam in football, in Belfast the sectarianism was taken out of sport by the introduction of the Belfast Giants and their no non-Ice-Hockey colours policy.
