The Daley (Half) Dozen: Sunday
As if you haven't had enough of me today, I will be on Sky News at 10.15 and 11.30 looking at tomorrow's papers with Steve Dixon.
1. Paul Flynn MP thinks his colleague John Hutton is stupid and doesn't see the point of him.
2. Fraser Nelson on the politics of decline.
3. SNP Tactical Voting on a LibDem MEP with some expenses problems.
4. Mark Pack needs to get out more.
5. Events Dear Boy on the utterances of Mr Derek Simpson.
6. Antony Little on why Sir George Young should be the first of many.

Just a repeat of what I have said in a previous thread
Tempus fugit.
We are now well into September 2009 (almost exactly half way). The election will likely be called around 7 April 2010.
That is less than 7 months. By the end of next week it will be significantly less than 7 months. By the end of the conference season .... ? It will be virtually an exact 6 months.
Do these facts suggest anything to anybody?
Reading through your Daley Half Dozen and one in particular, reminded me of a really sarcastic brill quote by Harold MacMillan
'As usual the Liberals offer a mixture of sound and original ideas. Unfortunately none of the sound ideas is original and none of the original ideas is sound.'
PS, You have had a wonderful busy week- fresh grapefruit is a delish diet appetiser you know.
You always seem to pick up on the blog posts I'm just that little bit extra chuffed with.
Not sure how you manage it but cheers Iain, much appreciated.
Trevorsden, for me at least, you'll have to spell it out I'm afraid. (I'm not the sharpest tool in the box)
Is Gordon pregnant?
