Quote of the Day: Gordon Brown
"People want to know how is the special relationship... ...Well Peter and I are getting on well" Gordon Brown at the LGA Reception, Labour Conference

Surprisingly witty for Gordon.
Somebody probably wrote that line for him. My money's on Sarah!
This might be a startling sign of a hitherto unknown sense of humour, buried deep within the grim shambling hulk that is Gordon Brown.
Or it might mean he thinks that Mandelson is now the President of the United States, in addition to all his other important jobs...
Yes, but it's still a LIE.
Bet Mandelson wrote that for him.
Yes, very droll! Sounds like something Rory Bremner would come up with.
Thats good, they can help each other pack in June!.
Are we sure he means Mandelson? Given how long he's had his head stuck down a hole, maybe he has a special relationship with Peter Rabbit...
Gruesome.
Graveyard humour from the moribund.
I think it is a figure of speech isn't it. What he means is "what you say Jack Straw said is not relevant to this subject".
