It's Not Clever & It's Not Funny

The Sun's pisspoor Whip Column is coming from Bournemouth this week. Today we get this pearl of wisdom...
Gordon Brown gave Tony Blair omly a couple of brief mentions in his
hour-long speech. One political pundit explained: "It's because Gordon hates
him."

Well thanks for that insight. As a diary story it fails on a number of levels - it isn't even vaguely amusing and it tells us something we knew already. I wonder how much it costs The Sun to send The Whip to Bournemouth. Must do better...

It's an outrage. Her pass should be given immediately to a man. Say that camera wallah from Doughty?

Amazing, isn't it, Thatcher continues to resonate even now, Blair who????

Gordon hates Blair. Quick ! Stop the front page! Although that probably sums up why the last 13 years haven't really achieved much in the way of successful policies !

Still Gordon's got his revenge. Blair is now an official non-person as far as the Labour Party is concerned plus he's been lumbered with a sh*te job as Middle East envoy aka Condi's messenger boy. Wonderful ! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy !

It was funny when Simon Hoggart said it live on Sky to Jon Craig though. If I didn't know better I'd think the pair of them had scripted it ;-)
