WebCameron & WebDale
WebCameron occasionally do guestblogs. Click HERE to view a short piece I did for them this afternoon.
I am afraid I will have to watch 18doughtystreet permanently from Europe, if Brown gets in and stays in. let's hope you're bold predictions come true. unlike Matt I still don't like that tie having seen it for a second after last night.
Iain, Firstly, nice one, that was a genuinely good perforamnce (meant in the positive sense), well presented and clear etc however, I must disagree with your suggestion that labour blogs aren't as widespread as others because of the party's "control freakery". I think the sole reason is the fact that Labour are in power, and so supporters have less to disagree with, which is really what blogging is about. You get few posts on any blog applauded administrations for good policy decisions or directions. Blogs allow venting of frustration. The exact reason why liberal blogs are in the majority in America while conservative and Liberal blogs are more prevelent over here.
John Hutton ? Hmmm...my gut instinct tells me that Peter Hain is enough of an egomaniac to have a crack - if the tides in Northern Ireland reach a flood [hmmm..weather metaphor may be inappropriate today] then I think he may at least have a crack at the Deputy's job. Mark my words...
p.s. perhaps you should 'raffle' your ties when they are 'retired' to raise money for charity ?
Did you say the one thing thats not going to happen "is that West Ham are not going to be relegated" - so the thing that will happen is that West Ham are going to be relegated then :-)
One thing you know for certain that is not going to happen, is that west ham are not going to get relegated... is that a double negative... so they are going to get relegated??!
Teemarto did a tee-shirt with the blazon "I'm a Hammer - Get me out of here!" on it last time you were in the second flight. I'll get you one for your birthday if you like and you can wear it next season. Here's the directions to Donny Rovers' lovely new stadium. If we get promoted, as is looking increasingly likely, you'll probably be playing there next year.
As a Labour blogger I think anon at 8:35 has a point. I have been thinking lately that blogging thrives on opposition as a lot of media forms do. If Iain were a member of the Labour Party, then I have no doubt that whilst this would be a fully operational blog, the style and content would be slightly different. Oh and I am sure West Ham will be relegated ;)
