I've just been texted to say that an MP raised THIS story at Prime Minister's Question Time just now. Which MP? What did Blair say? Details, oh loyal reader please. I am currently holed up in Windsor Castle!
PS: The Grauniad Comment is Free links to Dizzy's story by saying: "Dizzy Thinks: Hearsay - Blair called Brown 'psychologically flawed' not Campbell says former Doughty Street spin doctor...."
Irony, or typo?!

The Guardian reports it as follows: "A Tory MP asks if it was Mr Blair who called Mr Brown "psychologically flawed". Mr Blair, looking angry, says that he certainly does confirm that he did not say that."
See Rawnsley "Servants of the People" where he attributes the quote to "someone who could reasonably claim to have an unrivalled understanding of the way the PM thinks and I would describe them that way today". Have always wondered if this was in fact Cherie.
As they used to say on Tiswas 'This is what they want!'...
Ah, Mr Dale, with these revelations you are spoiling us...
Daley, Teflon Tone looks to have taken a leaf out of your book - Guardian reports him having a 'particularly dazzling red and gold tie' - he hasn't been truffling around in your wardrobe by any chance ? Best do a stocktake..
Holed up in Windsor Castle ?
Are you sure it isn't the Tower of London you've been locked up in ?
At times, I almost begin to feel sorry for Tony Blair. He must be thoroughly pissed off with being Prime Minister, especially when he has to tell downright lies. He much prefers half truths. But he knows that as soon as he goes the lunatics will take over the asylum.
Of course another possibility is, it was Cherie who said Brown was psycologically flawed and Campbell had to take the rap for her.
A fuller account here, Iain:

I'm fairly sure that it was Jeremy Wright - MP for Rugby and Kenilworth.
The BBC seems to have missed that question out of its PMQs summary.
It was Jeremy Wright who asked if the Prime Minister could confirm that you called the Chancellor "psychologically flawed."
Unfortunately this wording allowed Blair to simply say No, I didn't, which killed it off quickly.
Blimey. Thanks for the email. Linked and blogged.
Jeremy Wright:
'Will you confirm that you have not called the chancellor of the exchequer 'psychologically flawed'
Tony Blair:' do confirm that, yes'
I though it was appropriated by Campbell from Richard Wilson?
It was definitely Jeremy Wright MP.
He asked: "Following the television interview with the Prime Minister's former spin doctor Lance Price yesterday, will the Prime Minister confirm that he has not called the Chancellor of the Exchequer psychologically flawed?"
A stroppy Prime Minister replied: "I certainly do confirm that, yes".
So that's that then.
Andrew Rawnsley promises that he will reveal all when Blair goes. He can't be certain of anybody going when Blair goes apart from Tony, Cherie (even Ali Campbell may stay on).
So if it's not Blair then it's going to be sweet Cherie.
Actually I am holed up at Buckingham Palace at the moment, and might I remind you that there is only one Queen of this country!
Fascinating I'm sure - but the real news story here is not so much who described our beloved Chancellor thus, but what meaning the words "psychological flaws" is intended to convey in Westminsterspeak - more than merely biting one's finger nails to the quick surely?
A doctor writes:
Brown's psychological flaws are plain for all to see: multiple neuroses, cowardice, control freakery, bullying, pathological jealousy, sexual confusion, obsessive compulsive disorder, mood swings from triumphalism to depression.
John Hutton was right: " He would make a f***ing awful Prime Minister in my opinion"
And in mine!
I really think Dizzy's take was the best I've seen. He rarely has it wrong.
Surely it was Ali Campbell who was not only psychologically flawed but psychiatrically flawed and received treatment for such? Just the sort of balanced bloke you'd trust with something as menial as your pre-invasion Iraq strategy. Now hang on ...
Yeah Brown is psychologically flawed; but so is Blair...AND Reid, and Prescott, and Darling, and Hain, et all.
That's funny. Blair saying that about Brown. Look at him. He can't bare the thought of not leaving a legacy ffs!!! How !@#$ing flawed is that? If you ask me, they are all flawed; just in different ways.
Another thing about Blair. He refuses to take responsibility for anything (that's a flaw that is and it's more commonly known as having no guts) and he won't leave. That's another flaw.
Hmmmm. So how did Campbell get security clearance to work at No 10? You couldn't make this up!

*What a bunch of crap. I do not feel sorry for Blair and he isn't refusing to go 'cos of any lunatics taking over any asylum. He's refusing to go 'cos he's a chicken and his "im a times a five night man" ego won't let him. Oh and the money-craving battle axe won't let him either! HA! HA!
Cherie Blair? Ha! ha! She should keep her fat trap shut. She is not the prime minister she's just his wife. Oh my daddy left me when I was a kid and im flawed. Ha! ha! Yeah her dad also sponged off the state. What an example.
The BBC seems to have missed that question out of its PMQs summary.
Oh what a surprise!
