The Most Senior Politician to Blog?

Carl Bildt, the Swedish Foreign Minister, has a blog HERE. He is the most senior politician I can think of to have a blog - unless, as Cyril Fletcher used to say on That's Life, you know different.

PS I saw Cyril Fletcher in a pantomime in the Arts Theatre, Cambridge in about 1974. He made me play a trumpet on stage. I couldn't get a sound out of it and burst into tears. Scarred me for life.

Scarred you for life? Don't think so, you are always blowing your own trumpet nowadays.

It was Esther who used to say "..unless of course you know different."

What about Margot Wallstrom? She has sole jurisdiction in 27 countries.

Ah, good to see he's started up again - it all went a bit quiet when he landed the job.

Not that I can read them, what with them being in Polish and Hungarian respectively, but there are at least a couple of Prime Ministerial blogs:

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's wife also has a blog (http://www.abe-akie.jp/) which is apparently rather entertaining - not that she really counts, I suppose.

And don't forget Iranian President President Ahmadenijad's effort: http://www.ahmadinejad.ir/ - his Christmas message was lovely, I thought...

Was CF in drag at the time? How ghastly! I was fellated by Jimmy Krankie during a particularly stressfull performance of "Babes in the Wood" in Scarborough. Pantomimes should be banned.
