Some Things Never Change

I have had an enquiry from Sweden about the origins of this political poster. I assume it was for the 1935 election. Can anyone shed any light on it?

(Long time lurker, first time poster...)

According to this site -

http://www.bodley.ox.ac.uk/dept/scwmss/wmss/online/modern/cpa/library/posters.html

it's from 1931. the description of poster 22 against that year seems to match exactly.

Is this the most exciting thing you can come up with today ? I thought you were trouncing Guido, but think he's got the jump on you today..

The 'star' of this advert bears a shocking resemblance to a youthful version of that enemy of Socialism and godfather of National (sorry, New) Labour, Tony Blair.

Could it be his dad?
