Ming for the Mingers?

Well they don't waste much time, do they?! LibDem bloggers are already posting this banner on their sites. This has all the whiff of a coronation about it. Let's hope Simon Hughes spoils the party. Personally I shall be backing Lembit Opik. Wonder why...

How long before you declared for David Davis after Howard resigned, Iain?

About 3 seconds. Fat lot of good it did him!

Personally, I would support John Thurso, because of the moustache.

The moustache is reason enough, let alone him being a unifier who amazes me by his ability to put forward ideas I don't agree with and still make me think that they sound utterly reasonable and well thought-out.

In any case, it'd be good to see a leader in spats again.

Can somebody please tell why Menzies is always pronounced Ming? It is driving me mad and nobody seems to know the answer!

By the way Lempit is the only one who comes out of this as a stand up guy - the rest of them are just slimy slugs.

Because Menzies is pronounced "Mingiz".

Read Andrew Rawnsley for a succinct explanation of why you are wrong about Libdem MPs.

I know who would be perfect for Libdem leader: David Cameron.

We can have David Davis as our leader, then everyone's happy.

Except for the Orange Bookers who probably think Cameron's a bit left-wing.
