From 9-10pm on my LBC Show tonight I will be hosting the first radio debate between Labour's London mayoral aspirants, Ken Livingstone and Oona King. They'll be debating each other on their visions for London and how they intend to oust Boris Johnson from his job in May 2012.

If you've got any questions you think ought to be put to the two of them feel free to leave them here, or you can text 84850, email iain AT lbc DOT co DOT uk during the course of the day. We'll also be taking questions on the telephone on 0845 60 60 973 from 7pm.

The show starts at 7.15pm and you can listen on 97.3FM in London and surrounding areas, on digital radio all over the country, on Sky channel 0124, Virgin 973 or stream the programme at

Iain, Jonathan Freedland wrote an article in the Guardian saying that Labour would be better advised to bide their time and wait for a stronger candidate to oppose Boris in the Mayoral election. Jonathan doesn't think that Ken or Oona are likely to win. I wondered if they had any comments.

Oona is not so bad. She was rudely ousted from Parliament in favour of George Galloway because the Bethnal Green voters preferred a pantomime dame to a real one. After that she went a bit loopy but I hope she trounces Ken who has only sourness to offer.

Q: 'Which of you is the better socialist and why?'

Question to both.

They'll be debating each other.
Can't they find something more interesting to talk about?

Iain please ask Ooona if she still finds listening to Gordon Brown talk about the economy better than having sex with her husband
It was for this she won " Brown Nose of The Year" from the Eye.
