Boris Strikes Again

Three cheers for Boris! Again! He has scrapped the western extension of the congestion charge. There was never any merit in this in terms of cutting congestion - indeed, in some ways it encouraged it. Local people voted en masse in favour of scrapping it and Boris has responded appropriately.

So far Boris has appeared to be very responsive to the real expressed wishes of Londoners and is already the most popular elected Mayor that London has ever had!

Any chance of a refund for the last couple of years?

This has the great merit of infuriating Ken Livingstone and his supporters.

Boris deserves credit for leading with chutzpah. I like him more and more everyday.
