Two Hundred Times More Popular Than Prescott

Dizzy reports (well, the first bit, anyway):

Mr. Heald: To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how many unique visits to his website have been recorded since it was put online.

The Deputy Prime Minister: My Department's website has recorded 2,771 separate visits and 6,836 page views since it went online in late August.

Mr Heald: To ask Mr Iain Dale how many unique visits to his website have been recorded since late August.

The Deputy Prime Blogger (for it is he): My blog has recorded 530,192 since the end of August and 924,262 page views.

Yes, Ok, I made the last two bits up, but the figures are accurate! However, the Prime Blogger, Mr G. Fawkes (late of this parish) would knock me out of the water.

I look forward to this evening's little bash at a central London hostelry where Mr Fawkes and I will be thanking all those who contributed to the success of the Little Red Book of New Labour Sleaze and plying them with mulled wine and mince pies. Yes, dear reader, we know how to push the boat out. Guido will have his Totty cam at the ready and Mike Denham will look forward to being stopped and searched. I, naturally, will remain tee-total throughout the spirit and invoke the ghosts of Christmases past. I thank you.

Don't put yourself down Iain. When you went off and deserted to the enemy at Newsnight, the subject of your's and Guido's blog came up. The consensus of opinion was that your's won on content. I thought I would let Guido know that you won this contest at 18doughtystreet.com!

Mr Guido ? The Prime Blogger ?

Hmm...if you are going by the 'never mind the quality, feel the width' school of measurement...

I feel another poll coming on ?

Go on, you know you want to !
