While i have little time for Nick Robinson generally, I never realised how far up the perineal passages of Labour generally and Gordon Brown in particular, Steve Richards is (we always knew this is Rentoul's natural resting place).
This is the prime minister of our country being investigated in a criminal enquiry for heaven's sake. It's called NEWS VALUE, a concept with which Mr Richards is perhaps unfamiliar?

Hmmm...So is Nick Robinson now Blair's best friend or biggest enemy ?
Confused of Bristol
But surely the newspapers NEED the BBC to be deficient in certain areas, or they would all be out of jobs ?
And it is impossible to keep up with politics just by watching the telly, as stories like the Ipswich murders rightly get coverage as well.
You have to read the papers, blogs and listen to the radio as well.
Steve Richards suggests the BBC should "question what the police were up to."
Er... investigating crime? Or have I missed something?
Iain, Tried my best reading the article, but by the 10th comment, I'd lost the will to live. War and Peace.
"No wonder the fanatics in the BNP and elsewhere rub their hands with glee™" (the Robinson piece)
Good to see that glee™ is catching on, since your endorsement of it some time ago.
Are you still rubbing your hands with it?
"Glee - and it's Free!"
Very difficult to take anyone seriously who compares B-Liar to Jack Bauer...
