As I explained HERE, I'm producing a Guide to Blogging leaflet which will be distributed at the Tory Party Conference. It looks like I have now got it sponsored and paid for but I intend now to mske it something bigger and more comprehensive about political blogging. As well as a Top 100 Conservative Blogs listing, it will now also include a list of the Top 100 Labour and Top 100 LibDem Blogs. I'm also keen to include non aligned political blogs.
Obviously I have listed quite a few in the links section in the left hand column, but if there's a Labour, LibDem or non aligned blog you think I really ought to include in the various lists, please do suggest it in the Comments Section.
The leaflet will have several articles on the future of blogging and a guide to setting up a blog and making it successful. I now aim to get the leaflet distributed at all three conferences. If you can help with that, I'd love to hear from you. Do you have a stand from which it could be distributed? Are you willing to stand out in the rain and hand it to conference go-ers? Thought not!
Seriously, please nominate blogs for inclusion in the lists in the Comments Section. Try and avoid the ones in my links section, because I know about them anyway. And don't just nominate your own!

Well mine's in your sidebar, but it should be in "non-aligned" rather than Conservative!
Are you going to make your leaflet available on line?
Indeed I would also be interested to know when your top 100 Conservative blogs will be out.
For a non aligned blog I would recomend
http://letsbesensible.blogspot.com/
He can cover some interesting subjects in a thoughtful and funny way at the same time.
Oooh. Can I move from 98 in the Tory to 94 in non-aligned political?
Can I nominate
Bloggerheads (bloggerheads.com)
Craig Murray (craigmurray.co.uk)
Jews Sans Frontiers (jewssansfrontieres.blogspot.com)
Lenin's Tomb (leninology.blogspot.com)
Shaphan (shaphan.typepad.com)
All below me, of course!
May I recommend, as lefty/non-aligned blogs
Chicken Yoghurt
Europhobia
A Big Stick and A Small Carrot
Rachel From North London
and, since he certainly deserves a mention for something -- as to his politics, I think he's recently joined UKIP (God help both of them if he has)
The Devil's Kitchen
I'd like to nominate the left leaning, but otherwise excellent Lets Be Sensible @ letsbesensible.blogspot.com/
Labour-wise I do enjoy Mars Hill and Barry's Beef amongst others - as well as Recess Monkey, but that goes without saying.
Also Lobster Blogster (a Green Party campaigner) makes me laugh too, if you are looking for recommendations.
How about a non aligned blog that offers an alternative to the "cause driven" science that is so prevelent in all the parties today.

I think Lets Be Sensible is Labour aligned.
The obvious omission is Bloggers4Labour - a central hub for Labour bloggers.
Steve Pound will be the best blogging Labour MP if he keeps it up: http://www.labour.org.uk/blog/index.php?id=183
Best recent addition to the Labour blogosphere is The Daily: http://thedaily.wordpress.com
Others worth a mention (comprehensive links section at Bloggers4Labour) include Newer Labour, Fair Deal Phil, New Jerusalem, Omar Salem, Political Hack UK, Dirty Leftie, Agitprop Central, Ridiculous Politics and Fisking Central. I'm bound to have missed deserving blogs out though!
Does Harry's Place count as a Labour blog? It's excellent.
Bloggers4Labour does sterling work Nick, btw like the way you sneekily plugged your own blog there! ;-)
And noticed you didn't plug mine! :-/
May I be so bold as to nominate my own blog, as well as Lynee Featherstone's, which I'm sure you know about but don't seem to link to.
Quite simple, my nominations inc (Lab) Kerron Cross, Jo's Journal, Antonia's Blog, Yours for a Labour Government, BrightonRegencyLabourSupporter,Mike Ion, Nicola's blog, The Wonderful World of Lola, PooterGeek, WongaBlog, Skuds' Sister's Brother,
Bloggers4Labour, LabourHome. (Lib Dem) Thoughts.
You're already in the sidebar Kerron, and hasn't Iain already put you in his top three Labour blogs? You are already but a few steps from greatness!
I don't have my own blog (well, I suppose there's my Labour Home page but I've not written anything yet!) but I do chip in on some, which funnily enough tend to be the ones I think are good. :-)
And yes, that includes yours, Kerron! ;-)
I generally agree with all the nominations so far, and would also quickly add Freemania, which I forgot before.
nick_p: I'm also in the sidebar. I've never worked out whether being classed as media rather than Labour is a compliment or an insult. Answers on a postcard, please.
Your proposal sounds very interesting. When do we get a draft of what you intend to write.
Have the Lib Dem & Labour parties agreed to distribute your write-up
I'm not going to mention my blog again - it's had enough hype in the media - I'm chuffed to bits that so many people take to trouble to read it.
Just to remind readers that the closing date to nominate the best Lib Dem blog is 11th Sept.
Is the nomination for the best conservative blog open to the general public as well or is it restricted to Tory members only.
Any whispers of any competition coming up at the Labour conference.
If you are looking for non-aligned comment on Scottish politics, both the following are worth a look:

http://macnumpty.blogspot.com/
If there's any space left on the LibDem list, you could scarcely do better than my own efforts:

Shameless self-publicity, but then it comes with the blogging territory, I suppose
I would like to nominate mine buts thats because I have a huge ego...
