Just been flicking through my copy of Liberal Democrat News (essential reading for those tired of life) to find a glowing book review of Prime Minister Portillo & Other Things That Never Happened which I co-edited with my LibDem friend and all round nice guy Duncan Brack. Now available in paperback at £8.99! It's a collection of political counterfactuals. I wrote the title chapter, and rather naughty it is too. Not sure if El Senor will ever forgive me...

It's a fine book. Your chapter on Miguel is very entertaining. The chapter about Arthur Scargill winning the miners' strike is scintillatingly written too, a seminal piece of work in my opinion.
