Mileage Man

I reckon I have clocked up 200 miles today. Swanton Abbott-North Walsham-Eccles on Sea-Wells-North Walsham-Swanton Abbott-Hoveton-Cromer-North Walsham-Swanton Abbott.

Started the day off in Eccles to see some people who are concerned about the state of their local roads. Then went to Wells to talk to some people about the hospital and some filming. This evening I spoke at a debate with the Labour Candidate in North Walsham. I reckon there were about 80 people there. The newly selected UKIP candidate Stuart Agnew turned up. I think he expected we would say he couldn't take part, but we were quite happy for him to be there. I'm not sure I performed as well as I did at Holt last week, but the general consensus seemed to be that I did well. Some very good and provocative questions. Richard Lawson from North Norfolk Radio proved to be an excellent chairman and he has agreed to chair the other 5 debates we have planned. Next Friday we're doing one at Sheringham Community Centre.

Does your Liberal Democrat opponent consider himself above such debates, or is he running scared?

What time is your talk at the community centre tomorrow. I'm not sure if I can go but I would like to find out more about you and Phil Harris. Is there one in Cromer too otherwise? Will the UKIP and green people be there to ask queswtions to? Why you all want to come to N.Norfolk stuff like that? I know we're sposed to be Chelsea on Sea and all that but it's not that great! What is the single most important national issue for you? Do you have difficulty making your mind up on some difficult local issues? It's so important seeing all sides that it must be difficult. What is your profession/job? (It probably says somewhere on your site doesn't it?)

All the debates start at 7pm. The Cromer one is on Feb 18th in the Parish Hall. The UKIP Candidate will be there too. There is no Green Candidate so far as I am aware. You can ask any question you like!
