Tory MP Ties the Knot

The Telegraph is reporting tonight that Nick Herbert has become the second Shadow Cabinet member to enter into a civil partnership. He and his partner Jason tied the knot on Monday in a quiet ceremony in London. They both came to my (or should I say, our!) civil partnership in June and John and I could not be more delighted for them.

Do we know if Brown and his Darling have set a date yet?

What do you make of the BBC News lady who proffered the explanation to you and Kate Bevan that this was an important story because David Cameron has advocated that families are important? Was she spinning a Labour line or is she just thick?

Its time we dissolved the civil partnership that we have with this government, and hopefully the courts will apply the same family law when it comes to splitting the assets.

And when it comes to shacking up with the Conservatives we need a legally binding prenuptial agreement, with a non molestation order and an obligation on them to recapture our sovereignty from Brussels.

Such as shame that this legal protection isn't available to other relationships who wish to commit.

Society would benefit from more commitment between people, in sickness and health.

Don't see why it can't have been both, frankly...

If you want to pay tribute to Nick Herbert, put up a link to his interview on 5 live of 5 mins ago.

He exposed the Prisons' Minister as an outright liar in the most breathtaking manner and without breaking sweat.
