Janet Anderson Begs Tony To Stay

As the Dear Leader looks back on his wondrously successful 'burying bad news reshuffle’ he can take comfort that at least one member of the Parliamentary Labour Party wants him to hang on for as long as possible. Former Tourism Minister Janet Anderson has written to Blair begging him not to resign. Her reason? She thinks Labour would be unelectable under Gordon Brown. Surely not. It was Mrs Anderson who told us in 1997 that there would be “more sex under a Labour Government”. She wasn’t wrong, was she?

Your headline should have read: "Janet Anderson begs Tony to give her her old job back."
