Warren Clarke or Johnny Vegas are being tipped to play the lead role. I wonder who will play Tracey Temple? Rumours that Rosie Winterton, a close Prescott ally, will play herself are totally without foundation.

How about Sean Bean as the plucky northern Deputy Prime Minister who's affair with his secretary played by Keira Knightly is exposed by an shadowy bookseller, played by Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons?
