PM Rules out Party Funding Talks with Minor Parties

Yesterday evening Tony Blair held talks with Ming Campbell about party funding. Asked at the lobby briefing if the PM would be holding talks with the SNP on party funding, the PM's official spokesman replied: "I wouldn't hold your breath." It was the SNP's Angus MacNeil who sparked the police inquiry into allegations of peerages in return for donations, you will recall.
