David Davis Interview in The Spectator

David Davis has given his first post leadership campaign to The Spectator, which appears tomorrow. He talks about his life in the party he now calls “Cameron’s Conservatives” – but warns that internal policy battles lie ahead. I'm not surprised he's chosen Matthew D'Ancona for his first outing as he is possibly the journalist DD most respects.

Shouldn't "campaign" read "interview" Mr Freud?

Im assuming "Cameron's Conservatives" is a dig?

I'm probably posting twice, I didn't appear earlier to suggest "campaign" should read "interview".

I hear that there are lots of mutterings about how Cameron's Conservatives have handled the Tessa Jowell affair. Is it right that many of DD's loyal lieutenants have been suggesting that DD would have had her scalp days ago?
