Total Politics: May Issue Out Now
A couple of months ago we decided to commission a new design for the cover of Total Politics to make it stand out more on newsstands. This issue is 88 pages long (25% more than usual) and contains a new regular section called Total Advocacy, which is designed to monitor developments in the field of public affairs. Here are a selection of articles in the new issue.
Extended IN CONVERSATION interview with Paddy Ashdown
Interview with Norman Tebbit
Politicos give their memories of the 1979 election campaign
Prof Anthony King maps the path to the 1979 election
Ben Duckworth on the international news providers
Oliver Heald and David Winnick debate compulsory voting
Where are they Now? Maureen Colquhoun
Poll of MPs on expenses
Total Advocacy
You can read the whole magazine on our online eZine or if you'd like to take out a subscription for £35 for 12 issues (27% off newsstand price) click HERE.

Is "an interview with Paddy Ashdown" supposed to encourage us to buy TotalPolitics?
When will you be doing affiliate links for TP?
Plenty, not sure what you mean...
Great cover.
Re: Paddy article - Richard Holme has sadly passed away.
Great article.
I don't understand why you post the whole issue online - where is the incentive to buy the magazine? I have never once bought it, because I can read all the good stuff online without having to wade through the crap.
What I mean is how can I get a banner ad for TP?
Perhaps you should start an affiliate page for Total Politics where people can earn money promoting it. Just an idea.
perhaps in a future edition you may wish to consider running an article on how the british government 'dumps' on retired gurkhas whilst using our tax money to fund groups who live in our midst but include those who wish to kill us
I see that Mrs T made a valiant attempt to rehabilitate the Hitler salute. This year, Richard Herring is attempting to do the same for his moustache.
Sieg Heil.
I think the new design makes it stand out less! (The only thing eyecatching about this issue is a bloody great union jack.)
