Jon Gaunt Launches SunTalk Radio at 10am

Just when you thought it was safe, Gaunty is returning to the nation's, nay, the world's airwaves at 10am this morning with a new internet radio talkshow via The Sun Website. David Cameron is his first guest.

The launch of SunTalk is interesting as it confirms the trend away from conventional media platforms and onto the internet. When I look back on the 18 Doughty Street experience I come to the conclusion that it was probably 18 months ahead of its time. If we had persevered with it, I have little doubt that it would now be coming into its own, and what's more, have a revenue stream. Regrets? Yeah, I have a few...

I for one would have liked 18 Doughty Street to have continued. I much enjoyed your interviews. Do you think the channel will ever be revived?

How Awful. I well remember his big mouth when he worked for BBC 3 Counties Radio.

Well resurrect it then!

For a rather less conventional take on the news of the day than that of Jon Gaunt, see http://www.playradiouk.com/

Simon Darby, the deputy leader of the BNP, has his own program at 1900 each Monday.

Cameron was right to call for a June 2009 General Election.

Gordon Brown today has said that the worst of the recession is over, it does not feel that way to me and the only reason he has said so is due to Darling's likely Spending cuts and Tax Increases.

Brown said he was concentrating on the economy and was not going for an election. He has now said the UK is over the worse, Brown should call an election he has no excuse!
