Let Me Soothe You...
One of my readers is Irish pianist and composer Roy Todd. He thought my readers might like one of his pieces. As a fan of George Winston, I have to say I was blown away by it. More HERE. I really do have some very nice and talented readers, don't I?

Just for a moment Iain I thought it was this album
Beautiful...pity I fell headlong onto Amazon before I checked out Roy's link: wouldn't he get a better Royalties deal "at home"(asked ignorantly)? Personally, I'd love to ask Roy advice on how to excel... my four-year-old son is (allegedly) "very" good at the violin and I'm just banking on the 10,000 hours talked about by Malcolm Gladwell... (!) On the subject,Iain, how about giving me some feedback on my writing seeing as you have lots of talented readers! I'm so green to the blogsophere I need some 'reaction' slash moral support slash healthy criticism - I've had 1,070 hits in first week but very few comments/feedback...seems perverse! Maybe I need to put in the 10,000 hours first? www.frustratedstay-at-homemum.blogspot.com

I suppose it's miles better than the vomit-fest of your last musical contribution!
Let Me Sooth You...

Fortune telling are we now, Iain?
Or did you mean soothe?
Great stuff!
Great.
Not bad. He's no Ludovico Einaudi though.
Ludo is a genius. Literally the best there is.
Absolutely delightful. Where can I buy a CD?
You can buy Roy's CD here...

Only £9.99!
MMMmmm, very soothing and nicely played, but, unfortunately, hardly sufficient to soothe my savage breast after this week's political shenanigans.
I would respectfully suggest: Chas and Dave's 'Gercha', just for Gordon, as a more fitting epilogue for the week.
Come to think of it, you may wish to post your choice of appropriate music to sum up every week.
Just a thought.
