When pressed by Marr about being responsible as Chancellor for the credit crunch in Britain, Brown said "Of course I accept responsibility", but then said it's all the fault of others for not listening to his warnings for the last 10 years! The man has no shame (but knows of course that he won't be pressed too hard by interviewers).
If that's his idea of nailing someone then Mrs. Nelson has my deepest sympathy. For the life of me I can't work out what part of that merited such praise. Perhaps it was "As a statistician will tell you, “up to” includes the number zero."? Heady stuff.
Brown could save a great many jobs by simply revoking his decision to postpone the order for 2 aircraft carriers. These are high tech jobs, and a programme like this put on hold can only increase costs. But he might be accused of "doing nothing", might he not.

Only managed to watch the first half of the Marr audience with Brown ( surely interview is an stretching it a bit ).
Brown was allowed to trot of his spin and narrative which any junior reporter could have knocked many holes in. but Marr just nodded.
Then the BBC iPlayer gave up ...
I'd love for Brown to get interviewed by Nelson. THAT would make for interesting viewing.

Iain,
I'd like to suggest that you start a competition.
We've got to guess how large is the team of Draper morons posting under the label of "Jimmy".
Who's "we"?
