The Welsh Elections: A Blogger's Guide

The Welsh blogosphere is really buzzing as the Assembly election campaign gets into gear - in contrast to Scotland, where, so far as I can tell the blogosphere is relatively dormant. I thought you might like a quick guide to the best Welsh political blogs which are covering the Assembly election campaign...

Wales Elects 2007: The best all round coverage of the Welsh Assembly elections from Morgan Allen Moore's Joe Allen.
Arsembly: The Guido Fawkes of Wales - bitchy, gossipy and a must read. No one seems to know who writes it, but whoever it is seems tobe very well informed.
Blamerbell Briefs: The non partisan blog of Ciaran Jenkins. Comprehensive coverage, humour and a good deal of insight.
Glyn Davies AM: Tory AM who may lose out, but universally recognised as the most entertaining AM to have a blog. Woiuld be a great loss to the Assembly if he doesn't make it.
Ordovicius: A very entertaining blog from a Plaid supporter - updated several times a day.
Peter Black AM: The pre-eminent Welsh LibDem blog by a LibDem with a sense of humour. Well, sometimes.
Richard Hazlewood: Richard is press officer for the Conservatives in the Welsh Assembly. Partisan but fair.

In a sort of Fox News 'Fair and balanced' sense, I suppose you could be right:)

Dear Mr Dale,

You will not from this that Arsembly has now resorted to homophobia to get cheap laughs. Will you condemn him and boycott his blog from now on?

Berwyn, don't be so ridiculous. Try and develop a sense of humour. There's nothing homophobic in that at all. And I speak as one who should know.

Very kind Iain. I must learn how to measure the 'hits'. Apparently, after a mention on your blog these 'hits' things go through the roof. Phill is back at work tomorrow. I'll ask him to explain it to me. I can't even use the video recorder.

And by the way, when you posted that I'm 'the most entertaining AM to have a blog', did you mean that I'm 'entertaining' in a Lembit sort of way, or that my blog is entertaining?

Cheeky! Use www.extremetracking.com to track your hits.

You and your blog are entertaining. If the former wasn't true, the latter wouldn't be either.
