Michael Brown Goes Back to His Roots

Michael Brown, former Tory MP and now Independent columnist, has a great article today in which he describes a return visit to his former constituency of Cleethorpes. He reckons it's a bellweather constituency and detects that Labour is on the skids. Read it HERE.

An interesting article. I was surprisingly impressed by Michael Brown when he chaired the final selection meeting in West Worcs last summer. Thought the Indy's front page today was very clever.

Is that gone back to his roots, or tinted his roots, dearie!!

I went and spoke to a Supper Club in Cleethorpes only a couple of weeks ago and they have a good batch of local council candidates for these elections, including some quite young well grounded candidates.

Whilst the Association has gradually been lifting itself out of the doldrums, Martin Vickers - the Parliamentary Candidate there has been busy building links within the local community.

I don't know Cleethorpes as well as Michael Brown, but certainly something is changing there.

Surely 'bellwether' ?

Didn't Michael Brown admit to having given a blowjob to a lobby hack in a Ministerial office? These are the sort of old fashioned Tory values I miss.

Michael Brown. Get back to poltics and give up the scribbling. Your party needs you.
