Twenty Questions for Adam Rickitt...

In the first of a series of interviews with some political personalities Adam Rickitt has agreed to answer your questions for this blog. I'm calling the interviews 'Twenty Questions for...' And the questions will all come from readers of this blog. Please email me your questions to iain AT iaindale DOT com. Do not put them in the comments section. I'm not going to use anonymous questions so please give your name. I want to try to make these interviews as personal as possible so feel free to ask some unusual questions which he might not be expecting. If you are a reader of 442 Magazine, or The Independent you'll know the kind of interview I'm looking to achieve. Feel free to suggest other people I should approach in the future in the Comments Section. Within reason!

UPDATE: Adam has written an article for the Telegraph today (Tuesday). Click HERE. to read it.

As if Rickitt wrote that tel piece himself!! laughable...its straight from the desk of Steve Hilton/ Michael Gove...you can tell he didnt write it, and you can tell they did.

Im not anti-adam but I dont understand why he didnt stand in the locals a month ago if hes that committed. Margot James did to her credit.

An excellent piece in the torygraph under Adam Rickett's name.

He didn't write it himself? So what? IKB built the GWR, Clifton suspension bridge and....Do you think he laid any sleepers, or did the welding?

AR is an asset to the tory party. He looks good, though he doesn't speak well. And he knows who to employ to do his written work.

Sure, he hasn't pounded the streets delivering leaflets. Nor has he stood in a 'no-hope' ward/seat.

Can't his detractors see that he is making a different contribution? And in an area the tory party is desperately weak?

(according to the Telegraph article)
He's NEVER met David Cameron????

Can this possibily be true? The leader, who hasn't exactly got a country to run, has not met the A List candidates? Evaluating yours MPs not essential? Not vital in persuading constituencies to adopt them?

Umm who's your leader Adam?

And yes, I doubt young Adam wrote that piece himself... or without significant input from Little Stevie.

Iain - Guido has a mild "go" at you today re your planned interview with Adam Rickitt - but also goes on to say that the very last copies of your jointly edited Little Red Book have left the publishers today - clearly it is about to become a collector's piece.

call me dave, are you serious? Do you really think it is the leader's job to fill the candidates' list? Can you think of any past leader of any party who has done that?

Lovely cut and paste job from Mr Rickitt. (or whoever did the work for him)

Rickitt the Europhobe. Well I never.

My dear Hannibal

Damn right I'm serious. If the quality of MPs isn't the most important part of a political party then I don't know what is...

And if he is a visionary, why not be the first to master this role. Imagine what'll happen if they pick more Teresa Gorman or Jerry Hayes characters.

There are already some suspect names on the A List. Without top-grade MPs / candidates, he can forget winning.
