The ones I know are very fine blogs indeed. You are in excellent company. (And so are they!)

It is a very good blog. I do disagree a lot with Mr Dale on policy these days. I think deep down we probably want many of the same things, just he thinks that Dave will deliver them and I don't. And I do think he is being sycophantic at the moment, though he won't appreciate it being said.

But the quality of the blog is second to none, in terms of regularity of posting, balance of articles and versatility, and the general level of wit of most of the contributors. I am not sure blogging will ever make any money, but if it does then this blog will be one of the first.

Keep up the good work.

Glad to see I managed to scrape into your list. Are there any prizes? A link from your blog? A bottle of whisky? ... Keep up the good work, Iain.

And thanks for the high quality traffic I'm getting.

Ellee, You're about No 23 at the moment, so I am sure you'll soon make the Top 20! Every hit appreciated!
Michael,I have given up being concerned about people thinking I am sycophantic. If I thinK DC is doing something right or well, can I not say so for being accused of brown-nosing? You seem to ignore the times when I am critical. I suppose if I stick my head above the parapet I'm either arselicking or being disloyal, with not much in between. hey ho.

I have to crack the whip and get more of my readers to head your way.

Well I said he wouldn't appreciate it. I just can't remember the last time you were critical of DC that's all. Can you?

Its a pity more people don't find the Conservative History Group site, its blog and its link to you.

And on DC, I think you have it about right, Iain. I may not like all he is doing or saying, but we are in a better position as a party because of it - and heaven knows the country needs a change. I'm never altogether clear how Socialist a government we've got, but it is both a high tax and a very inept government, which is a pretty disastrous combination. However, I do think we need to here more of a genuinely localist agenda, and a debate on how to redress the balance of the constitution (England largely short changed).

Good to see that your membership of the Witanagemot Club is paying dividends.
