Why is John Prescott Still in Number Ten?

John Prescott arrived at Downing Street this morning at 7.30am. He's still there. Is he staging a sit-in? Is he refusing to budge? Is he making sure his acolytes Ian McCartney and Richard Caborn (and Rosie Winterton, no doubt) are being treated well? The rumour mill grinds on...

Is he:

a) holding a sit-in protest?
b) comforting Ministers who've been demoted/sacked with "it could be worse, you could be me!"
c) making the most of his last time in Number 10 with help from his junior ministers?

Sorry Chris, you missed one:
or d) thumping Tony's lights out?

Ahhh.. one can dream!

Strange... Radio 4 reported him leaving "grim faced" over an hour ago.

How do you know he is?He could have left through several exits or be in the Cabinet Office having walked through the door between the two buildings or even (!) walked through the bunker under Whitehall to his new private office at the MoD :)

He's just left. Didn't look too bruised or battered, which suggests Blair didn't put up much of a fight!

Well only on a brilliant night for the Conservatatives could;
one jab,
two jags,
three padds,
four shags (at least)
...actual size Prescott, keep his job.

Just goes to show that the only way of keeping number 10 & 11 from fighting, is to keep Presa in his ever-shortening role. I am starting to feel sorry for Blair. Then again...
