Special 9th Birthday Present for Tony Blair
Check back later to see what Guido Fawkes and I are getting Tony for his 9th anniversary in power.
UPDATE: We've decided to keep you waiting. Check back around 9am tomorrow!
I would have thought that would be more Prescotts sort of thing. Get pissed, have a fight with a total stranger, get back to the leeky shack, tend to the Mistress a couple of times, nip next door to give the other one a good seeing to, go back out get steamed again and then pass out in a gutter...
My guess is they are witing for the exact anniversary of TB's declaration as the New PM. That'll put what ever announcement they are going to make some time in the wee hours of tommorrow.
I have been spending my May Day waiting to see what you have got for me. I had to let Cherie go off on her own to fix her hair and worry whether the £5000 cheque guarantee card will cover it.

Ooh hurry up and tell us...
I take it he is not going to like this present?
Could it be a piece of certain information relating to one of his Cabinet collegues?
A collegue who is already in hot water and is sinking rapidly...?
A free week's holiday for two at Butlin's, perhaps?
A lie detector kit?

is it an icepick? they're on discount at this time of year.very useful ahead of reshuffles.
Is it some of his cabinet colleagues jumping out of a cake?
Butlins in Pwllheli might have leeky shacks, but elsewhere they would surely be leaky.
Discount vouchers for Italian hotels as his mate no longer runs Italy (voting him out was one thing...getting him to go was quite another)?
This wouldn't be a rerun of Guido's earlier attempt to alter the face of British politics, would it?
I'd be a bit careful if it is - his track record's not 100% successful after all.
Not that I don't warmly support the sentiment.

Tim W just picked this up from one Martin Kelly.

Might be worthy of your consideration.

In the meantime I'm heading off to Doncaster for a long weekend and hope to find somewhere warm and cosy at the end of my journey!

But it's Monday evening - feeling OK are we?
Dear Iain and Guido
I have been spending my May Day waiting to see what you have got for me. I had to let Cherie go off on her own to fix her hair and worry whether the £5000 cheque guarantee card will cover it.
Please hurry.
Yours
Tony
Looks like I'll have to catch up in the morning.
Night all.

Grrrrrr... how can you leave us hanging like this? How am I meant to get to sleep? ;)
