RESHUFFLE: Prescott Looks Into the Abyss
Prescott is going to be the sacrificial lamb tomorrow (actually, today). He'll lose his portfolio but stay in the Cabinet as Deputy Leader of the Party. Will he lose the title Deputy PM? Nick Robinson says Prescott will shoulder all the blame for the results tonight. It's fantasy of course. They're all in it up to their necks.

Indeed, it looks like David Milliband, unless he is moved, will be upgraded from Minister of State for Communities and Local Government (with cabinet seat) to Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The ODPM will simularly be renamed.
I'm more interested in what might happen to Charles Clarke. Any ideas?
