Monday night foot ball will never be quite the same. As Sky lick their wounds having lost the Monday night football rights speculations is already mounting over who Setanta will choose to front their football coverage. Will they go for a trendy new look or will they want a famous face? If they go for the former they may try to lure Ian Payne from Sky Sports, but I understand from a Channel 4 insider that Des Lynam would relish a move back to sports presenting. At least he wouldn’t have Carol Vorderman to contend with.
