Congratulations Iain! I'm not surprised, though, this blog is a 'must read'. :o)

Well done to the others on the list, it makes fascinating reading.

I used to read Tory Totty but it's now by invitation only!

Scottish Unionist will be desolate about missing out on this. The blue blood runs strong in his family.

Having read Nadines blog for the first time I now know why the labour party are scared s*****ss of her. That NHS post was worthy of being published in the dead tree press (not the DT as they are still employing heffer and do not deserve help).

If i may , As a avid reader of your blog ( as well as Mr Fawkes and Labourlist ) The tone and quality of post and debates are a pleasure to read .

I'm quite surprised Peter Hitchens's blog doesn't feature.

His place is a must read for conservatives, surely?

How odd...

Iain Dale said...

Peter Hitchens is not a Conservative, as he himself says. Therefore his blog does not feature. He is, however, in the right wing list which was published a few days ago.

Iain Dale said "Peter Hitchens is... in the right wing list which was published a few days ago."

He is also a complete and utter... oh wait, I can't use that word here. Let's just say he'll consider it lavatorial language.

It can only be a matter of time before you publish a piece called: The Top 100 Lists Of Lists That Have Appeared On Iain Dale's Diary.

Wardog, Scottish Unionist was placed seventh in the non-aligned category, which is two places above his ranking in the Scottish section.

Timothy Belmont said...

I'd consider myself to be a Tory. I omitted to place myself on the conservative section.

Congratulations one and all. This list proves beyond all reasonable doubt that the conservative bloggersphere is as vibrant and varied as it is excellent. As a new conservative (sort of!) bloggeer, I hope to gatecrash this list next year!

On a related matter, its nice to see the King (Guido) and Queen (snigger) of blogging winning their respective categories. Still the best blogs in Britain lads.

@ anaon
I have also just read the post on Nadine Dorries blog about the NHS. The days of the DTP will be over and done with by 2020. We need to keep Nadine on the internet. Her blogpost about the Lockerbie bomber was also exceptional. She is one of those rare birds, if she will forgive me, a clever woman with beauty, spirit and compassion who the Labour trolls and the media will relish in attempting to destroy.

Can we have the most unread blog list? I'd like to win something.

Remember, it's in line with the government's view of "all must win prizes". :)

Oh, I know full well he's not a tribal Tory supporter or any fan of the Conservative Party. But he is 'conservative'. His politics is conservative. I thought that was what was specified for the conservative blogs contest...whether a blogger and his blog is conservative, as opposed to a supporter of the Conservative and Unionist Party.

Sorry, I think it's a bit confusing. You can be, as I'm sure you know Iain, be a conservative without supporting the Tory Party.
