Iain,

I know that ordinarily, your above the usual mockery and tittle tattle that comes from certain sections of the blogsphere, but unfortunately I'm not.
If I asked you nicely, could you please confirm or deny the rumour that Bob Ainsworth is currently supporting a Syrup - because if he is.....Oh My God!!!!

I have pointed out to Luke Akehurst that Labour has had a wheelchair-bound MP since 1997: apparently he hasn't noticed.

Interestingly, the lady in question was originally selected via an all-woman shortlist. I say no more.

This is going to be one hell of a summer!

MORE fresh expensesgate allegations! Harman more patronising than ever! Brown told to quit! Mandelson asked to become MP!

And who would have thought that the expenses saga would still have legs, today?

Someone called Fausty said, at Conservative Home:

Hallelujah!

The Tories have yet to take advantage of the power of grassroots activism. Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty is a shining example of how people can make a political idea viral, at no cost.

This is the way they should be going, not coasting along to a marginal victory next May.

Re: conservatives internet strategy.

The first thing they need to look at is their hardware. The EU election demonstrated that both the Conservatives and the LDs need to beef up their web hosting set-ups to account for markedly higher traffic.

(the Conseravtive IT bod pleading 'cyberattack' when their website fell over, did not ring true.)
