Live Chat with Eric Pickles: Tonight, 8-9pm

Fresh from his success masterminding the Conservative local election campaign, your hero and mine, Eric Pickles MP will be joining me on the blog for an hour long live webchat
Tonight from 8pm to 9pm.
Eric is masterminding the Conservative campaign in Crewe & Nantwich and will be conducting the chat from the Conservative HQ there. Put it in your diary and come armed with some good questions.

We all voted for Erci Pickles.

Have you no shame?

Would you buy a used Audi from Iain Dale??

Eric Pickles is the voice of reason in the Conservative Party. He should be used more in the media as an antidote to Dave and Gideon who are big turn-offs for most of the electorate.

Keep it real Iain. Pickles isn't my hero even if he's yours.

Gordon and Dave were the biggest drivers behind the results on Thursday. Pickles was just in the right place at the right time.

He should listen to you for some diet tips. Boy does he need them.

Can you publish a post for people to send questions in via the comments to Eric before the live chat starts?

I did think about that, but it rather defeats the object of a live chat, I feel.

Eric Pickles is so deeply unattractive...It's best to keep his photo hidden.

Notice how you never see Eric and Karl Rove in the same room together? I wonder...

How do we view this interview?

Can you ask Eric why Sky was (is still) reporting 300 gains for the Conservatives whereas the BBC are reporting 254 gains.

After the way he put Hazel Blears in her place on Any Questions? (with a smile it seemed too!), we should be making much more use of this guy.

Can't make the time slot but could you ask him if it's true that Team County Durham are amassing in Crewe, why, and could he keep them there, please? I can send some rolls of Duck Tape, if needed.

Sorry , forgot to add 'Labour' in Team Co Durham...

Where have the news feeds gone? Didnt there used to be feeds from Sky; BBC, the Tories and Downing Street??

Used to quite like them - will they be back??

I can cover that. The BBC seemed to plumb for the results of the last election in 2005. However since then a number of councils have been formed anew, and these had seats that were contested for the first time, now Sky counted these as gains, but the BBC did not for reasons best known between the Director General and 10 Downing Street.

Perhaps because of them being the first time elections for these new councils they didn't count then due to a lack of previous numbers, while Sky did because they were all part of the election and add to the total tally for councillors and council seats.

Why don`t you do a Pickles confronts or whatever its called instead of talking to that cunt heffer. I have stopped buying the Telegraph because of his poison. If he hates Cameron so much he should challenge him to a fist fight. The fat fucker would fall in seconds.

Conservative Central Office did exactly the same as the BBC.
