Labour Do Not Do... But If They Did

Tim Montgomerie has launched an excellent new website this morning - labourdonotdo.com - which is the first project of ConservativeHome's Chameleon Army. labourdonotdo.com aims to catalogue Labour's number one failing - its incompetence. Shouldn't be too difficult then...

I'd have to say the most incompetent Government in history was Major's 92-97... this lot are bad, but they aren't the worst.

Greg, what would you know about competence and being in Government? Your fringe party will never get the chance. Leave power to the big boys.

Sleaze yes, incompetence no.

There was never anything on the scale of the current gross incompetence in the Home Office. And Conservative mistakes came a lot cheaper.

These are just cheap shots at the government and I do find them particularly funny. There are better ways that they could express their disdain at the government

What do you call the ERM debacle?

Billions and billions thrown away in one day for nothing other than political vanity!

Interest rates at 10% that were already really hurting businesses large and small - with a government so arrogant and so determined to defend their ERM vanity policy that they pushed them up to 12% and then 15% on the same day! Absolutely mad!

Major and Lamont and co. lost us every subsequent election on that one day...
