EXCLUSIVE: The Tory Logos the Mail on Sunday Didn't Print

Last Sunday the Mail on Sunday revealed that the Conservatives are considering commissioning a new logo. They got their art department to knock up a few possibilities but due to a lack of space they didn't print them. A little birdie has emailed them to me. Call me perceptive, but none of these really float my boat! I don't think I'll enter them into the ConservativeHome logo competition...

Not exactly inspiring!

I had a thought - what about a bridge. "Building bridges", "bridging the gap" etc. The image would need to be Impressionist in style but it should convey mobility, access, problem solving, friendship.

I also like the dolphin idea.

The second one looks more like Baldwin than Cameron!

you can just imagine Frankie and all his new mates spending hours coming up with something utterly banal that really represents where we're headed philosophically ie nowhere, soon.

The 'Dolphin idea'! Why?

They have so much to teach us about postal voting? They have so much to teach us about phonetics in the classroom?

They have so much to teach us about swimming?

Dolphin idea? Why, exactly?

Pulsar, if you can manage to read an entire Riddell column you are a better man than I am. I've never succeeded, even though I've managed 'Ulysses' and all three volumes of 'the Gulag Archipelago'...

The best one has to be John Prescott pissing into the extinguished flame of the current torch.

Sums everything up and shows who's boss.

Pulsar, I managed it but it was a close run thing.

The flag on the bike is wrong. The wider white stripe on the top-left to lower-right diagonal is meant to be right of the red stripe, not the left.
