I thought you would all like to have my day-to-day Tory Party Conference Itinerary as well.

Tuesday

9:30am A meeting to admire the hair of Boris Johnson. Boris will be triumphantly describing his victory as Mayor in successfully executing the Crossrail and Olympics thingies to the precise plan put forward by Ken whom we no longer mention in public. High Morning Brunch.

11.00am A short film by George Osborne: how to enjoy a yachting holiday and the value of contemporary links with the Russian business community.

11.15am Sloppy Tiffins.*

12.00 noon. Iain Dale: How I became the World's Leading Independent Tory Blogger and genuinely Nice Chap all at the Same Time as becoming MP for Bracknell and Lymeswold West.

12.30am Ken Clarke will preside over a splendid luncheon sponsored by World Tobacco Day. Theme: How to Avoid Mentioning Europe Whilst Being in the Shadow Cabinet.

2.45pm Lunch over, the Party will sing Jerusalem and admire the WI and fox hunting. (Know at Eton as Mad Afternoons)

3.30pm High Floggings.**

4.30pm Closing debate on pensions. (conference empties)

* An Eton custom - Eton phrases are appearing more and more these days at Conference.
** Another Eton term - not sure what happens at this one.

Pride? At a Conservative event?

That will be Homophobic Pride then.

Interested to hear about the Women's Tory fringe groups Iain, can you report back on that.

I thought that women's Tory groups had all collapsed really because of the misogynist attitude of the Tory main frame?

Iain,

Slightly confused as to my the Association of Chief Police Officers, a private limited company, are at Manchester. Care to ask them?

Any chance that this conference, or you, will address the Treason committed by the Heath Government in 1972?

"Pride? At a Conservative event?"

Has Kaminski RSVP'd yet?

Will there be time, perhaps at the Pride meeting, to applaud Stephen Fry et al. over their letter to David Cameron?

I note there's a "Conservative Women's Organisation Fringe"

Is there a Mens Fringe too?

@ Despairing Liberal

How do you feel about the alumni of Fettes, or St Pauls?

Unsworth - see my Diary for tomorrow for views on dreadful oinks from the lower sort of school you mention.
